Mariners calling up their #10 prospect early to replace Gilbert.......

Another fan banned for life..... I've heard Dodgers fan say worse about Ohtani or just fans in general say worse about players in general.....not defending it...... but this is pretty ridiculous IMO..... wouldn't say anything racial myself but this isnt anything new really and yeah..... people should have heard Dodgers fans when Ohtani was on the Angels when he broke a Dodgers pitcher no hitter.......

You even had a Dodgers LA Times reporter say some IMO really nasty racial comments regarding Ohtani when he was an Angel.........Should Dodger fans be banned for life too :dunno:

This guy is a fucking idiot. So no free speech if you buy a ticket to a game? Say something bad about the owner and you can get kicked out? Fuck off, fucking geek.

I mean I'm not defending it but hey.....

Let's be real here..... This ain't the only time or the first time..... or well.... I mean doesn't anyone remember when Ohtani was an Angel and Dodger fans would say pretty much indefensible things to him for breaking a no hitter against the Dodgers.....

This and well yeah...... like a lot of other nasty things people say in general..... I'm not defending it and I agree there should be standards at the game but I mean.....

Let's be real here, fans have done as bad or worse regarding racial comments or otherwise and this isn't really something new.

I know sometimes I get pretty wild at a game...... I don't say anything like these guys do but you can hear me and I get pretty animated and sometimes even my brother hits me up in a different part of the stadium "are you here, I can here you lol."

I like to joke and say stuff like "OMG somebody call security, there's a little boy on the field."...... Jose Altuve is up to bat.

"French sucks!!!" JP France is on the mound.....

"Your melting on the mound like a Gelato (Lucas) Gialito!" Yeah you get it......

"You aint no Real MVP!!!!" Judge up to bat...... Yankees fans loved that one especially in 2023....

Follow it up with a wolf howl and the kids get a laugh ^_^

I'll heckle mainly players on my team though to be honest. AJ Pullock was hitting .140 at a game I went to last season for the Angels...... it was so unbearable to watch aside from everything else that day, made a noise about it, "THIS IS THE MLB, WHAT IS HAPPENING!!!". Even dude kind of looked up into the sky after striking out like "damn what am I doing here, someone end my misery." Next day he was DFAd or sent down or whatever but he was never seen again.

Either way I like to have a good time, rally the kids around me to cheer the team, pass some Baseball card packs on Sunday Little League days sometimes for the kids when I can once a season at least, go on my own or with my pops and brother sometimes.

I mean I don't agree with what the guy did and I wouldn't sponsor anything like that.... but as said being real at games worse happens or as bad racial comments or otherwise.

Ima just say Baseball moms and kids sure love those jokes and wolf howls and hey as long as it puts some smiles on a couple faces and brings some laughs.......

As the saying goes no harm no foul :dunno:

Whoever lands this kid....... has a chance at a prospect with a high high high ceiling......

Another injury for the Dodgers...... this time Glasnow.......

This pisses me off because he's a great pitcher...... and if the Dodgers can't keep some of the best pitchers healthy in the Age of the Pitch Clock....... if they can't develop guidelines and recommendations........ to keep pitchers healthy....... there needs to be a reevaluation of the pitch clock in consideration of pitchers health and safety IMO......

The-Kids' Real 2025 MLB/Baseball Thread Flashbacks *_*

May 29th, 2023.........

Recap on this subject as I feel it's important and totally the way of the future for pitchers. Many don't see the game this way but already there are capabilities in place to provide a virtual HUD to a team and pitcher that can tell them a lot of valuable data about their performance and how they are performing and what they can handle and do and at what levels for how long.

Monitoring vitals and pitches that deviate from a pitchers comfort zone and how many pitches they have available to throw within a reasonable means above their comfort zone would be a valuable tool for pitchers health and safety aside from helping them gauge their performance and what they can handle. This puts the health and wellbeing of the pitcher first and it also actually better prepares both teams and pitchers on a game day providing invaluable data with Statcast and instruments meant to measure performance levels of pitchers and monitor vitals.

In light of record injuries and aside from other guidelines and recommendations this one makes a lot of sense and wouldn't get rid of the pitch clock or any of the rules and simply add on top them as a foundation to help limit injuries and also provide invaluable data and guardrails keeping a pitchers health and wellbeing in mind.

Much like guidelines and recommendations were made with the pitch count back in the 80s out of concern for pitchers health and to limit injuries, in today's age in 2023 a new approach may be needed out of concern for a pitchers health and wellbeing to limit these record injuries occuring amongst pitchers.

Modern Warfare.

Much like a fighter pilot who uses a HUD that displays how much ammo they have, fuel, missiles etc etc not only will these guidelines and recommendations provide guardrails for pitchers health, safety and wellbeing but much like the HUD a fighter pilot uses it provides invaluable information for a pitcher and teams on a pitchers performance and what is available for said pitchers in terms of power, endurance and amount of pitches they should be able to throw in an outing and also areas to work on or areas that highlight good results and how to replicate that and make them even better.

By adopting guidelines based on a pitchers baseline (comfort zone) and deviations from it teams can better manage the workload and stress placed on pitchers arms as said before and this can easily be done from pitcher to pitcher and team to team thanks to Statcast. Monitoring these pitches that deviate above a pitchers comfort zone along with vitals also provides invaluable feedback to the team and player in their game and what's at their disposal in terms of health and performance.

It gives you a much better idea of how many pitches are safe to pitch above a comfort zone and also how many of those pitches the pitcher still has available not risking injury much like a missile on a fighter jet. Better analogy it gives a pitcher an idea of how much GAS they have left in the tank much like a jet fighter has a similar reading or instrument that indicates that for them.

As mentioned these guidelines can help identify potential red flags when pitchers consistently pitch significantly above their comfort zone baseline performance levels, serving as an indication that their arms may be at increased risk of injury, like a redline meter but for pitchers and teams and it makes sense aside from other guidelines and recommendations to lessen the impact of record injuries amongst pitchers in the season so far....

Not only are guidelines and recommendations necessary for pitchers health and wellbeing but if you think about it they also take the pitcher and Baseball into the 21st century and beyond by providing a virtual HUD in regards to their performance levels and different aspects of them and what is available at their disposal and how much GAS they have in the tank or missiles in terms of pitcher above their comfort zone they can handle and have left as well and in more insightful ways vs current methods using conventional wisdom.

The Kids Real MLB 2025 Top 12 Power Rankings Update April 28th, 2025.....

Based off Total Team WAR, Starting Pitching rotations projections and the WAR-Ratio as a baseline along with other factors and considerations for teams with most likelihood and highest likelihood of making postseason for 2025.......

My Rankings are more accurate and to a lower margin of error when it came to my Regular Season and Post Season Power Rankings in the 2023 season vs the "experts"......they actually reflected performance by teams better than MLB/ESPN/Verlander/The-Ringer.... as good as the "experts" in 2024 and I don't have a full department of people and "professionals" or "experts" like Ken Rosenthal running around a floor of 500 people and a nationwide network of hundreds if not thousands of reporters and journalist..........

It's just me, my WAR-Ratio method and other factors and considerations, basic stats available to everyone and a little bit of calculus along with my Ti-84+ calculator.......thats it......you heard it here first.......
