Presidential Pardon for Pete Rose......forces the MLB Commissioner to reconsider the HOF for a legend.... Pete deserves to be in and he needs to be forgiven...... wish it happened when he was alive but better late then never...... its time to finally let Pete rest in a field of dreams......

Early in the season Cole went 6 consecutive starts with an ERA of 1.11 during that same time span for the month of April and this would set the tone for his 2023 AL Cy Young campaign......Cole went on to lead the AL in combined ERA and IP as well going 209 innings with a 2.63 ERA.
While Coles ERA is higher than the NL Cy Young (Blake Snell) Cole doesn't just offer quality he offers 200+ innings to go with it too.
Amongst the only 5 pitchers (Chris Bassit, Miles Mikolas, Zac Gallen, Logan Webb, Gerrit Cole) in the AL/NL and the whole MLB that pitched 200+ innings Cole lead these select group of pitchers in the following categories for the 2023 season:
K/9: 9.56
ERA: 2.63
xERA: 3.48
FIP: 3.16
LOB%: 80.4%
BAA: .261
SO: 222

The Kids' Real MLB 2025 Power Rankings ....... Final top 12......... Will update as the season approaches or move the list around but in general once it gets going that doesn't happen unless something big changes......

Based off Total Team WAR, Starting Pitching rotations projections and the WAR-Ratio as a baseline along with other factors and considerations for teams with most likelihood and highest likelihood of making postseason for 2025.......
My Rankings are more accurate and to a lower margin of error when it came to my Regular Season and Post Season Power Rankings in the 2023 season vs the "experts"......they actually reflected performance by teams better than MLB/ESPN/Verlander/The-Ringer.... as good as the "experts" in 2024 and I don't have a full department of people and "professionals" or "experts" like Ken Rosenthal running around a floor of 500 people and a nationwide network of hundreds if not thousands of reporters and journalist..........
It's just me, my WAR-Ratio method and other factors and considerations, basic stats available to everyone and a little bit of calculus along with my Ti-84+ calculator.......thats it......you heard it here first.......

And things quickly turn for the Astros....... and after the Rangers Garcia injury.... The Mariners are sailing ahead it seems to a postseason without much competition in the AL West....... but does this open the door for the Angels or perhaps the Athletics......

Sasaki coming in hot in his first start for spring training...... thats some real speed..... and he's only going to get faster..... bring more velo and more Ks......... seeing this stuff he seems to be ROY fave IMO and possibly be in talks for Cy Young too...... who knows even probably make a good argument for Cy Young if he can consistently do stuff like this in the MLB as he is here and as he did in the NPB........

I mean it's possible it just hasn't happened in recent times, the modern era and in the StatCast Era would be unheard of........ Sasaki seems to be set for a NL ROY but can he flirt with an NL Cy Young too ^_^
