Starting in the a.m. of May 14th (that's tonight at midnight)

This will be a two week competition running until the 28th of May at which time the winner will be announced around 9pm central time or when I get to it. So you've got plenty of time to put your best Carlos™️ shoe forward.

Member @Omnipotent1 reached out to me and has generously offered to put up the prizes which I am told will be a large bag of bit o honeys and a [EDIT]: $100 Sweetwater gift card. That means your next PRS purchase will be that much cheaper, and sweeter.:yes:

I was told I have to be the judge so the winner is at my discretion. You can pick any backing track you want but shred chops won't automatically win this time. The guy who chooses an appropriate backing track then demonstrates soul. technique, and skills can win, but so can someone who demonstrates desire by posting multiple attempts or just does something unique and cool. It could be an acoustic jam with vocals. It could be shit but you bought new Carlos™️ shoes trying to impress me. Having fun and being supportive of other guy's playing in the thread also counts for something.

ATTENTION: @Shreddy Mercury @Fusionbear @NeubyWanKaneuby and any others who would like to play for respect and honor......

I'm just gonna go ahead and say that I seriously doubt Omnipotent is game for overseas shipping costs so this will be a continental USA game only unless he states otherwise. Anyone outside the lower 48 states can enter and win, they just ain't getting the prize (other than bragging rights), in which case the goods will go to 2nd place.

The most soulful entry is the one that is gonna count most. Sweet bends, smooth phrasing, rich or beautiful glassy tones, Carlos ™️ boot equipped licks. Matt is more than capable of turning out some good stuff especially with a new PRS.:yes:

I'm in. I've got tan pants with a comfort waist, a polo they gave me for being on the patent review board, and what would be boat shoes if I wasn't 800 miles from the coast.

My weapon of choice is a PRS Anniversary model. My signal chain from there cost more than a new Toyota Corolla. The highs are glassy, yet airy. The mids are if I dare say it haunting. Breakup? On the edge of it.

Y'all don't stand a chance 😁
