..or at least a little change in speakers configuration?
........stoppppppppppp..i've found a NOS to place in v1..and with new cables....

I've read this "method" on many board..the never ending circle of..you name it...i name of paranoia/obsession.


I 100% think is better a "tone" maybe not 101% what we figured out it will be in our mind but playing,learning,enjoing music than always be on building,destroying,adjusting....

It´s like the circle with the women... The only thing that breaks the circle is you. You just have to be satisfied with the sound you have Every new "thing" you have will be here and there a little bit better and on the other hand there are some little drawbacks. It´s the same thing with women...

We all have to replace tubes and maybe a speaker now and then.
I have purchased only European NOS tubes and use them when a current tube blows.
I have been doing this for many years and have found my favorite tubes and favorite V-sockets to use them in. My tone has only improved.

When I need new cables, I try something new and better then my previous cables. This is just maintenance needed to perform ongoing, just as with tube or speaker replacement, guitar replacement, et. al.

You need to remember that change can be a good thing. When I revised my entire system between last year and this year, I condensed and upgraded where that was possible. for instance, I used a VH4 and a Herbert prior to receiving an Einstein 50 watt combo and just this past Christmas, a Schmidt and matching 2x12. I upgraded my guitars from american to European...a definite improvement imho. I also did this with my effects, and everything I work with.

Don't be afraid of change, and don't rationalize doing it. If you feel in your heart that you can get better tone and play better, life is too short to deny yourself for whatever reason, mental, or actual.

By the way bronz79, since you live in Milan, have you tried XOX Audio Tools Handle carbon fiber guitars? They are headquartered there. I love mine.

Like I've so often said, I use the title of one of Frank Zappa's CD's - "Shut Up N' Play Yer Guitar". Really, at the end of the day, this is what makes me the happiest... It's when I can't play for whatever reason that the ol' stinking thinking comes into play - buy this, trade that, get this, upgrade that, jeeeeeezus man - I've got enough gear for a world tour!! But ya ya, it's my hobby, and I do play the snot outta everything I have. But I catch myself periodically thinking there's better this and better that - only takes me a couple minutes with the amp nicely heated to realize - the only thing that requires "bettering" is me and my playing.

Never tried them but i absoluty love carbon fiber.
5 years ago a friend of mine and i were producing custom airbox air intake for rally cars..i can produce even now at my ome simply shaped object..of course i cannot
stabilize the epoxy resin in my microwave!
The vacuum and the autoclave are the right tools for durable and stable carbon fiber/composite manufacts.
Many companies in Lombardia make CF at the state of the art..sailing..sportscar etc...
Next week,if i'm free, i'll do a tour at XOX Audio Tools.

P.s....new bridge PU incoming..BKP painkiller..a painkiller...but i'm 100% sure it will not be the cure for my GAS attacks!

Try Sonorus. I had both to a/b them. Link Protect are great, but sonorus is even better
Amp to speaker is noticable, but for me guitar to amp was a completely different world

True..but all depends if one want to break it.
Don't get me wrong but on many many board and in real life itself i've saw,i see and i'll see people smiling like a 3 old child for the incoming new music gear.
And then..when the new toy is not so new c'mon..start the searching for something that appeals GAS disorder.
If the equipments (amps,guitar etc) become more important than music itself we are on a wrong way i think.
Amps,guitar are beautiful instrument to play and the way to express our creativity but they are only cold objects..they are form of art
only for the mind that created them, for we that play they are only an artistic medium.

I'm not afraid at all in the way you point ..changes due to musical changes are evolution..changes due to "i only wont a new thing to play" are not changes.
