All Floyd is saying (and he’s right) is that to think Newsom has changed his mind puts you and the other people of cali in exactly the position that got the whole state in this mess to begin with.
Never ever trust a progressive. They will lie to their own mothers. They have proven it a thousand times over in the last decade.

The time for taking progressives at their word is gone. How do you know that?
Look at their actions right now, anything that is pro American they are against. They are against cutting waste and fraud because it has made them all rich over the past 20 years. They are on the side of hamas terrorists and the people who support them
and against them being removed from our country. They are on the side of every deviant group including pedos and against anyone who would put them in their place.

When I lived in cali the north end of the state still had some sensible people there but that’s been a few years

Correct me if I'm reading this incorrectly but isn't The Kid just saying that no matter the character of an individual involved, an accelerated shift to the right in places such as Cali is ultimately a good thing (for those who want it)?

This is similar to the Trump situation where some on the right say to the left, "Who cares if he's a xxxx or committed xxxx - he's gonna get the job done!".

I say "similar" (but not the same) because Trump's supposed ill deeds and character were trumped-up(!) by the left, whereas Newsome's record cannot be refuted.

Still, in matters such as these I automatically focus on the bottom-line outcome for citizens. If it improves quality of life, who cares? Newsome's hypocrisy may only come back to bite him some way down the track, but it will bite him.

I mean when the whole State is turning into Skid Row....... and things don't look to be getting better thanks to laws and policies here in CA that lower quality and standards of life for people instead of improve it.

People just want change and Orange County is a big bell saying so, this county for example hasn't been Red since Obama not until this last election and now it's back to being Red. Before Obama it was Red and now with 2024 Trump turned it Red again. Almost 20 years............ that says a lot and shows the things to come in the State.


People for the most part just can't put up with CA being destroyed by Democrat/Blue policies that do nothing to help the average person. Everyone is just fed up with it but there just aren't any real viable Republican options to pick.


I voted for Steve Garvey last election for Governor and he was an ex MLB player that played for the Dodgers and Padres. He didn't win but he did a lot better than expected just based on policy differences between both parties. A lot of Republicans did a lot better than expected and some counties such as Orange County that were Blue turned Red too. So I mean it's already happening and that is the way of the future of the state IMO and peoples votes reflect that trend.
