Let's hear it. Tell us how this was a colossal failure on Biden's part even though before it was a colossal failure that nothing was happening.

Random opposing political claim:

"This only happened because Trump is running and Vlad is scared now."

How'd I do?

It’s a good start. I’m also looking for all of the international diplomatic negotiators here to tell us how they could have made a better deal.

Why would it be a failure? I generally see it as a good thing. Don’t know any of the details though.

I'm glad people are home/heading that way. I don't know everyone's details but from the descriptions it appears that we gave Russia a bunch of Rooks, Knights, and Castles in exchange for some Pawns. Maybe there's more to these people. Obviously the media bias in the descriptions of the prisoners isn't helpful in getting a good understanding in the actual importance of each person. That's about it.

Well Trump called it an embarrassment. Must be something to that.

And if he did it he would call it the most brilliant prisoner swap in the history of US-Russia relations. Don’t you know how that guy works?

Well Russia got their number one hitman back. I am filled with ennui. My take away from it is that Russia and China and N. Korea are pretty much free to order the assassinations of whoever they want and imprison anyone they want to be used as a bargaining chip, but the US and most western countries aren't. I personally don't see any reason why Russians in the US should be afforded constitutional protections since they aren't citizens.

As for the deal, I'm happy for the families of all the people who were returned.

Let's see a list of foreigners falsely accused and imprisoned in the US to be used as bargaining chips with their home countries.

And please, no 1935 or 1979 or whatever. Modern time.

Maybe I should have used the caveat, " Overtly".

Qasem Soleimani and Ismail Haniyeh, for example (I was talking about assassination)

Prisoner swaps are never pretty. By their nature true prisoners aren’t saints.

Not sure what you were expecting, but unlike the swapping of a butcher for a basketball player bullshit, this swap doesn't seem to be that bad of a deal. You know, other than the message it sends. Which is kidnap innocent Americans and we will give you your favorite criminals back. But intense public pressure means that was likely to be the case regardless of who the president was.

Anyway, I really have nothing bad to say about the deal.

Oh, you mean terrorists. I said falsely accused.
I’m talking about state sponsored assassinations. The US even assassinates it’s own citizens occasionally. See Anwar Al-Aulaqi, Samir Khan, and 16-year-old Abdulrahman Al-Aulaqi

So, what was the point of your first three posts? Gotchas? Finally see that people aren't the retards you make them out to be and then try and change the narrative?
