Saw TPR last night at House of Blues, Chicago. Phenomenal show. Dude played Wizards and had a KILLER tone. Taylor Momsen was absolutely on fucking fire. It's not even fair that a chick that hot can sing like that. Lethal combo. Their albums productions are pretty slick and polished, so I didn't expect them to sound as good live, but they're a band that sounds much better live. Holy White Hounds opened and were also awesome. They played through an Orange and a tweed Fender and had a massive lower gain tone and great tunes. Kinda like AC/DC meets Zeppelin meets Rage Against the Machine. If you dig either of these bands, DO NOT miss this tour.

 This! ^^^^They are great live, and probably the biggest reason for my Wizard gas. Saw them in '14 at the same place, and also a few months before that here in Wi. Best live tone I've ever heard.

Totally, his tone was amazing. Big, fat, rude, and had the top end of a chainsaw.

I'll see them in Feb. Really looking forward to. Also love the new album. They are getting better and better

F*#k!!! They're playing in T.O tomorrow night, but it's sold out.
Yeah, the new tunes are cool.

Me too, it's a great album, and they are getting better. If you've never seen them, you're gonna be blown away. They were that good. As good as she sounds on the albums, she sounds even better live, and I didn't expect that. She had some grease on her voice here and there, like delay and a doubler for parts where there's a lot of backups on the albums, but it was definitely used to enhanse, not as a crutch. She's got a powerul delivery and amazing vibrato and pitch. She's (they're) the real deal.

That sucks! We had an extra ticket, too.

Great tone, great voice, great throwback vibe....i dig.

I'm sure you guys know this already but she was the little girl in "The Grinch" movie. Blows my mind. :) Cool that she left acting to do metal and successful at it.

Yes, also "Gossip Girl." It's very cool that she chose to do hard rock instead of cashing in with pop.

Damn. Just noticed they are playing here tonight but I will be watching my bud open for Stryper.

Yes, first time I'll see them live and can't wait. They are very cleverly using "old" classics and make their versions of the songs. I love "their" sympathy for the devil and papa was a rolling stone inspired by songs for example. I wonder who's the mastermind of the band. It doesn't sound like someone of her age would be able to do that. Maybe one of the musicians (they seem to be a lot older) or is that somebody behind the curtains?
Anyhow, great songs, great performances and great sounds (fed my Wizard GAS as well)....
