Cool rig. A buddy of mine in CO has a similar rig but with the Marshall effects unit (can't remember what it was called...looked like the preamp)...he has one of the best live tones I've heard.

JFX-1, just picked one up. Now I need the pre and amp, lol.

Nice rack rig!

I have JMP-1 and JFX-1 rack I use direct to my Bose L1. Would dig having the EL34 100/100 power amp, but then I'd need two 4x12 cabs, and a new house, wife,...

Awesome clip Jason! Man, you are a killer player. Sounds mean.

There's an EL34 50x50 for sale in the Classifieds right now! Even better, I'm selling an RT2/50!

I used a JMP-1 and 9200 as my main live rig for about 5 years back from around 1990 to 1994/1995. Killer setup for live flexibility.

Thanks, I'd need the 100/100 version, if I'm going to deal with the explosions on homefront due to a new large rig, I need to go big! That said, doing home improvement now so the gear budget is nonexistent....but after this is done...it's my turn! ;)

Sounds awesome and as always your playing just kicks ass!!!!!!

That sounds killer indeed

What pickups were you using in that clip?

Wow.....that sounds really CRISP AND TIGHT!!
Great Crunch thats mean and nasty to boost!!

Smokin!!! Watch the E-bay prices on jmp-1's start climbing...

Dammit, that sounds great.

(Opens new window to check local CL for JMP-1  )

Damn, that clip sounded MUCH heavier than I thought it was going to be!

I used to run, for a VERY short amount of time, a JMP-1 through a Mesa 2:100, and I tried everything and it never sounded that good no matter what I did, hence the short amount of time having it. I have heard it through other power amps, and they never sounded as good as yours either. I guess the JMP really like to be paired with its Marshall power amps.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Just an fyi - this only the JMP-1 through the 9200, no external eq and the GM2 is bypassed for this clip.

That's a great rack, simple yet versatile. I always thought they were great sounding.
