The ripple effect of the Iran war on struggling U.S. farmers: "It couldn't have come at a worst time"

"Wurst" time.

Cause it was all sunshine and rainbows under Biden smh nvm the last 45 years of screwing the small farmer in favor of corporate ag. Danny Come Lately.

Yep, Trump fucking over his loyal voters as usual.

"The price of ammonia and urea, two fertilizer ingredients seeing disruptions, are up around 20% and 50% percent, respectively, since the start of the Iran war, according to Oxford Economics. The price of diesel gas is up 43.5%, according to AAA."

Again you fail to acknowledge record high fuel costs under Biden so how can anyone hold a legit conversation with you? They can't.

This is about fertilizer, which you would know if you bothered to read the article.
How can I have a legitimate conversation with you if you don't bother to educate yourself on the facts? I can't.

Actually, here's what I said about fuel prices while Biden was president:

"Let's talk reality.

Diesel is in many ways more crucial than gasoline, because trucking runs on diesel. So the price of diesel drives up prices on everything.
Here's a chart of the 5Y Diesel price.

Now, we see the price was low until a sudden spike in early 2022. What happened in Feb 2022?
Putin invaded Ukraine. Sudden supply shock and price increase. That's bad, but not exactly Biden’s fault, unless your logic is quite the pretzel. Average US diesel prices peaked at $5.72/gallon in June 2022.

So, as we see, the price was pretty much back down to normal by mid 2023. While I don't blame Biden for the price jump, I also don't give him credit for bringing it back down. Market forces played the major role.

Now, let's look at the current price spike. Current US average diesel is $5.37. Only 40c below the all time record.
It's difficult to make an argument that this price spike is due to anything other than Donald Trump's sole decision to start a war with Iran. No outside global forces to shift the blame to.
And, all signs point to the price only increasing more from here. Major oil infrastructure in the Gulf has been destroyed, and will take years to rebuild. So this price increase will almost certainly last much longer than the previous Russia-caused spike."

Except you, Biden, and every other hard lefty wanted to back Ukraine to the hilt. Meanwhile it was nothing but a money funnel for people like the Bidens and corrupt elements within the Ukrainian gov. We should've handed the keys to Putin=cheap fuel (not that you care). A million "Slava Ukraine" sig lines and X account posts as the flavor of the minute political move took root in the lefty community. Now nunya give a shit again cause it's not trending.

So....we can't have a conversation because you aren't genuine. And the reality:

Current US average diesel is $5.37. Only 40c below the all time record.
"Only".....no, it's 40 cents below the all time record, which is still $1.20 savings with a 3 gallon purchase. Mr. Big Trucks JD knows that is substantial cause trucks use a lot of fuel and math doesn't lie. So hit the little laugh emoji and keep wondering why you don't make any friends here. Your politics are more important than people.
