Cool. How about some real pics :gethim:

Yeah, that picture does suck :aww: More media on the way although it is quite boring to look at

Couple of clips coming too....

@Rokker - 4-25 watt speakers in a cab for a 100 watt cab has been the industry standard since 1968. Not too worried about blowing a speaker. Even gigging, there's no way the SLO would be above 10:00 anyway. Even with the brutal depth knob and bass this SLO delivers (and I am talking fucking huge), I think they will be OK. While on that subject, it seems like most people go with the 65 watt versions of these speakers. Compared to each other, they are like two totally different speakers. Where the 25 watt versions gives you the right bottom end and breakup, the 65's will stay too stiff and sterile for my liking. Greenbacks on steroids can't be beat. If you like Scumbacks, try it out if you can. And, if I blew a speaker, I would probably think that was just the coolest shit ever

Steve and SLOGriff, sweet rigs boys! The Suhrs are beautiful as well - I dig the "classics".

question about the clean channel...
i know the 5150 is a poor man's rip off of the SLO sorta... I like the clean channel with the crunch button in on the 5150 versus the red channel..

does the SLO clean channel crunch switch give a similar effect ? and do you guys just prefer the lead channel on the SLO?
I have never played through one. I have to imagine the lead channel on the SLO isn't all fizzy like the 5150 (which i can't really find useful)

I haven't tried it with the clean engaged, only crunch. I love the crunch all the way dimed on the preamp and the mid-scoop mod engage. So, for a two channel amp, this thing suits me to a T.

Had band practice today and made a few clips. Will try and get them loaded up. Will have a little with both channels (crunch and OD)......just not clean

i see so you are setting like crunch for rhythm and solo for lead... yeah who needs clean

exactly! this is where the factory mods really helps the amp out. the crunch channel preamp dimed with the scoop engaged is plexi on steroids. the OD is over the top, but silky smooth, thick and chewy! i leave the haynes mod disengaged though. crank the hell out of the depth and presence and it just smokes.

will try to get the clips up. got honey-do's calling my name right now.

What are the live gigs like in Saudi?

Great. They are on closed, non-Muslim compounds. We play in Bahrain too at da clubs.
