My greater concern is the number of youtube guitarists who neglect to wear eye protection in their amp review videos. It's irresponsible and setting a bad example for the younger generation. I never so much as plug in a guitar cable without the proper personal protective equipment starting with a quality set of safety glasses preferably purchased from a reputable source like Grainger.
Neither is a blister on my little finger or a blister on my thumb, neither of which I've ever experienced thanks to my careful use of thick leather gloves when practicing guitar.
