Detroit's goalie is not Osgood as Fleury. :D

I actually feel a little bad for Osgood. He kept his team in this series through many stretches here and he doesn't seem like quite as big of a douchebag as, say, Babblecock. They put his ass on waivers back in the day and he still comes through for them. He should have given that "unmatched in all of professional sports"    organization the big finger a few years ago.

Congrats Penguins!! Not who I wanted to win, but it was a fun series to watch.

I hope my Blackhawks make it next year!!

We were told that they were glad Malkin wasn't suspended for that one game because they wanted to beat us at full strength. Well.....they got Datstuk back and that was supposed to change everything. Tonight you had your full lineup and we had Crosby hurt. We beat you on your home ice in game 7 with our best player hurt!!!

I still have yet to see one wings fan come on here to say "Congrats, you were the better team".

Not that it really matters but I'm pretty sure in last year's thread I said if the teams met again this year the Pens would win. I was laughed at heartily.

I also predicted Pens would win in 7 this year.

Oh yes....I am the guru. Hail to me!

LOL.

Sorry. I'm running sound tonight bored and had to bust some balls.

That was the best fucking thing ever. What a fucking great game.

Plus did anyone see The Flower's girlfriend? :inlove:

And I know it is just piling on, but FUCK YOU MARIAN HOSSA YOU FUCKING IDIOT

It's hard to be smug when your team just got destroyed on home ice in the biggest game of the year....

This. ;)

That was an absolutely awesome game....

Well at least an entire African village will get some "Detroit Red Wings 2009 Champs" shirts next week.

Hahahahahahahahaha....

It was a great game and win for the Pens. Considering where they used to be in the NHL. Bottom of the barrel for so many years after the Lemieux era. Then to win Sid The Kid in a game of lotto after the lockout.

I see a lot of Pittsburgh bandwagon fans, but its a glorious win for the real fans who liked them in the shit years. (Which are few and far between)

Does anybody have a picture of hossa after he lost the cup AGAIN? I gotta see that.

I think Sid deserves to bust a big nut on hossa's face since he is now officially Sid's bitch.

Hahahahahahaha....
God this feel good.

Dude...I have been going to games since they wore blue uniforms the first time around.

I have pucks given to me by:
Greg Malone
Battleship Kelly
Paul Mahovalich(sp)
Ron Stackhouse
etc.

Lemieux was huge for the Pens in the early 90's and the current crop of Pens is most definitely huge right now (and hopefully for many years to come).

I, for one, am happy and very proud the Pens brought the cup back and hope there are many more to come.

I'm not sure who is "bandwagon". I'm sitting here in my Lemieux jersey purchased in the early 90's. I suffered through the last place seasons with them and went to games in those years. That makes this so much sweeter.

Thanks for the congrats nonetheless, but no bandwagon fan here.

Do you think Ryan Malone is kicking himself in the ass right now? That's one guy I really didn't want to see go.

That's great. But I do see and hear of twice as many Pens fans in the last two years than the last 12 years. No big deal.
