Just curious. What size did u specify for the bridge hum when ordering your Warmoth pickguard? Trembucker b/c of a covered fender spaced hum?

I need to order one but I’m going with an uncovered hum so I think I’m supposed to order Big Trembucker.

If I remember correctly Warmoth just offers standard or mini humbucker cutouts. The covered humbucker fits very snug, enough to stay in place without screws. An uncovered hum would only leave a small gap around the pickup. Hope that answered your question

Progress pics (sorry about the size :aww:)

Pete signing the Thornbucker

Dude! This is a masterpiece! I totally dig EVERY SINGLE thing.

Gorgeous axe! Congrats, bet it sounds great!
  It does!!! I’m really digging the single coils. I’m not usually a PAF style hum guy but this one sounds pretty good. I bought the Thornbucker+ to give it a try since I don’t have any other guitars with this style pickup. I may throw a Tone Zone or Duncan Distortion in just to experiment. I’ve been wanting to try the Motor City second degree black belt too.

It’s made the ‘cornteen’ a little more bearable, especially with the Waza headphones (I love those things)

So it’s been about a month and I feel this may be the best all-in-one and most versatile guitar I own. All the research and measuring really paid off.

That's awesome when you get through all of it and are happy with all the choices you made months before in preps. Congrats !!
