I got a speeding ticket in some shitty little town. Cop tells me to slow it down. I told him that wasn’t gonna happen. I’m getting the fuck out of Nebraska as quickly as possible.

Honestly Floyd I dont remember.
Ive driven to FL a number of times back in the 90's, my buddy was stationed in Jacksonville.
Last time for me in FL was that Phish show 1999/2000.

I just remember Georgia taking forever.

Oh, and like a fool hitting DC traffic at the wrong time on the way down.

I can inform you about where you live. My perspective may differ from yours but at least it will be based in reality and not TV/internet fantasyland. ?

Yeah, Atlanta sucks. I think it's worse than Houston or DFW. They claim Austin has some of the world's worst traffic but I don't think it has anything on Atlanta.
 
I was at a conference in Duluth, GA a year or so ago and riding (Lyft) from ATL to Duluth was life risking. Worse than LA imo. No turn signals, insane speeds, people racing, tail-gating, and motor cycles with no lane usage whatsoever. Driver told me Atlanta was getting ready to implement auto speed traps with cameras so they could mail tickets to people. As we got close to one, everyone slowed down and followed the rules....then, back at it :lol:

My brother (RIP) and I drove to Live Oak, FL to do a 311 weekend festival. It was fun driving down because we were looking forward to it etc., but driving back was a bitch. Didn't help that I had to do all the driving.

"Midwest" means "west of the Mississippi" "Gateway to the west".
 
I'd put together a STL meetup but it would just end up being HMJ, Thump and myself anyway
