The vaccines are all a poisonous grift

I'm reading this and I don't see where it says that the feeling of worry itself is a sin. It seems more like reasonable life advice than a command.
I never framed it as a sin but the Lord commanded us not to worry. "Therefore I tell you don't worry about your life...." seems pretty clear cut.

The Lord also gave us a brain to think with. Human knowledge isn't wrong in and of itself. Reliance on human knowledge without God is wrong.

When you authoritatively state "WE know the earth is a ball spinning in space cuz science" you have committed yourself to reliance on human knowledge alone in taking that position.

Don't get vaccinated then. Get sick. No worries! :ROFLMAO:

(Just remember to pay for all your medical care out of your own pocket though, you wouldn't want to come across as a hypocritical)...

Got it. Even if you don't worry about yourself, refusing medicine that can prevent your own suffering, even death, is not a smart thing to do. How would your family feel if you died over something you had the means to prevent? Or, if you got really sick and were financially ruined because of hospital bills? This stuff happens all the time in America.

What medicine though? And prescribed by who? I'm pretty much at the point where if it's not holistic and I'm suffering from more than just a broken arm or leg, I'm going down. I'm not going to break my family financially trying to hang on for a couple more months/years with a crap quality of life. My old man has been preserved for a few minutes longer with prostate cancer treatments but what he's gone through isn't worth it to me personally and even he's refusing chemo that he could afford. He's done.

People say I should get screened for colon and prostate cancer but letting another man shove his finger, or camera, up my ass is wrong on so many levels I don't know where to begin. So, no, no thanks to paying Dr. Strangelove's Benz note.

Dude, c'mon. You're so homophobic that you won't get a simple screening that has no sexual intention or implication involved? FFS, go to a female doctor then. If your dad has prostate cancer (sorry to hear) you are at risk. Preventive care could save your life.

It has nothing to do with homosexual stuff, it's just a degrading procedure because another man has a finger, or camera, or an air pump up your ass. That strikes me as at odds with my faith the same way organ transplants and blood transfusions also seem at odds with it.

Buddy, after I had my appendix removed I had a male nurse shove a catheter all the way through my junk because I could not pass urine. 30 years later, I'm still alive because of that and not feeling the least bit degraded by it. Get yourself screened.

It's not going to happen. I have neither the desire, nor the money. One thing I have found disheartening is that so many people say the same thing, concerned for their health, yet neglect to ever ask the Lord for wellness to begin with. This also runs contrary to my thought processes. And I say this as someone who as a kid went through a lot more than a catheter. All my early experiences in life soured me on the "right" way to do things. Covid only excacerbated my already deep disdain and distrust for medical professionals

You protestants take great pride in knowing your bible. Get on the ball

Matthew 6 25-34 speaks at length about worry.

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

I don't see anything in there that would cause me to make the decision you did.
I don't personally care if people take a vaccine or not. Everyone's situation is different.
My mom almost died because of Covid and now has serious COPD issues.
I wonder what God was thinking during the Black Plague.
With the advancement of world travel, spreading disease is a real thing.
In Dubrovnik for example, they had an island right outside the main port that visitors had to quarantine for 90 days before entering the country.
Do I want to take a chance of dying because of some bullshit virus from China? Fuck no.
The next global virus is just around the corner. We will be facing this again. And again. And again.
Not saying everyone needs to go take every vaccine the government 'demands' we take.
Covid 19 lock down and subsequent effects probably outweighed the benefits - including my mother's situation.
But I respect your decision to NOT take any shots.

Prolly something along the lines of:

"... What a bunch of idiots. I told them what to eat on the first page of the manual (verse 29) and taught them the principles of living clean, but nooo..."

Sure, it's a tough prescription to carry out, but in this case, not-unusually, untold benefits lie behind the "paywall" of having the balls to follow an inconvenient principle. Abstinence before marriage springs to mind but there are prolly hundreds of examples.

IOW, what I'm saying as that I believe we're to blame for a Helluva lot of bad stuff that happens for which some turn around and ask, "Where was God? How did He allow this to happen?"

Putting God on trial for a grievous tragedy or illness means if my back hurts it's also God's fault yet when someone does something grievous of their own will they will justify it saying the devil made me do it.

I think the last shot I took was an MMR booster or something back in high school one year, so like 1996 or 1997 maybe. I owned a bread route during Covid and was around hundreds of people a day, standing next to me, reaching over me, etc and I never got as much as a sniffle or runny nose.

Okay, so you have deep distrust of medical science. Understood. Will you refuse all medical treatments? I'm trying to understand the scope of your objection now that you have given your reasoning.

I mean I have mixed feelings about vaccines.......

In some ways they have advanced man where the average man lives longer now than 100 years ago nvm 200 years ago when many would die of malaria or other diseases before the advent of penicillin. When it came to the pandemic I personally promoted what President Trump did with his WARP Speed Vaccine Program. In my opinion that along with the advent of AI and the country with the best AI or first to achieve a singularity or close to one has the best probability and likelihood of being the hegemon not just for the next century but beyond.

And while the advent of the Covid19 vaccine is probably one of mans greatest achievements and an American achievement probably IMO rivaling the moon landing or the invention of the atom bomb....... it was rushed and maybe there were somethings that we are not aware of now that may have side affects we wont really know or be aware off for years to come and some already known like heart palputations amongst youth some suffered for example.

IMO Operation WARP Speed was a success but as with everything there are in a sense margins of errors/side effects that just come with the territory. And it wasnt just a success but I said and projected along with the country to make a singularity or like the best AI along with the country to develop the vaccine first would pretty much be the Hegemon for the next century and beyond.

IMO beyond Operation WARP Speed which President Donald Trump singed/funded to successfully deliver and have America be the first country to develop the Covid Vaccine faster than any vaccine before..... maybe that same technology beyond vaccines could be used to find cures for diseases we still have found no cure for today...... If that could be done...... if we can use the technology to find real cures for incurrable diseases today...... if we could use the backbone of Operation WARP Speed and the knowledge/advancements President Trump funded and developed to save peoples lives, I dont think thats so bad.

At the same time I dont think vaccines or medical advancements should be shoved down peoples throats and people should have that choice for themselves but at the same time if we can develop medicine to save peoples lives, put America at the forefront of medical advancements and find cures for diseases there werent cures for before I call that a win win.
