So you’re a small business owner. I am as well. Different industries but small businesses.

I as the owner have taken the risks, learned the skills, invested the money and time, and now get to reap the rewards of operating a successful business. Had it failed, I’m fucked. But it didn’t, so there’s “success”.

I should pay the entry level person what? Same as me? Same as someone who has spent a couple years grinding?

Whether you like it or not, the capitalist, skill driven, merit based system is by far the best system available for basic people to create wealth.

By academic standards, I’m a moron. But this moron built a successful business by busting my ass and taking chances.
