Nice guitars, not sure the amount of money they want is worth it.

For 1/10th the price, the Wolfgang Standard is a pretty nice guitar.

All these guitars are getting so expensive that I am going to be going the partscaster route this year and just throwing something together i really want. The chinese are getting good with their necks and there is minimum fretwork required. I recently bought some luthier tools so I can have a go at the basic work a neck needs.

Just fill in the lil scoop with wood putty or something
Since they are "Custom Shop" $6000 guitar they should offer a scoopless option. I am going to call a dealer and really press the "REDUCE THE SCOOP" issue.

Eddie built his original franky with all the parts for $150 Ed’s Ibanez destroyer was probably $250 back then look at the sounds he achieved from those guitars

I'm glad I got my USA WGs a decade ago when no one wanted them.

I'd like to pick up one of the Japanese ones with the kill switch, though.

It's almost like he was a virtuoso and the gear really didn't matter that much.

Eddie sound changed from album to album from small gear changes to large gear changes though out his career.

If Eddie were 16 years old right now...he'd probably find some mim strat body, get some neck from Guitar fetish...find a pickup he liked, wire it up...and it would sound like Eddie.

Ed made his first few guitars [the famous one's] from the trash pile @ the San Dimas Charvel factory.
Too bad the cigarettes killed him.
