I absolutely love what Jeremy can do to a Recto. He addresses all the shortcomings - flub, fizz - and turns it into a firebreather while retaining the DNA that makes Rectos special. I've got a Triple he modded too, and that 150W gives it the extra heft to punch through walls

But seriously, I’m really happy you love the amp. It did drive me a little insane getting the circuit right, but when I added the last capacitor in there, boom, that was IT.

I spent a week or so dialing this in and re-configuring the circuit. It’s basically all new. It’s got a really good feel and is harmonic and massive, but still tight. It’s that tight rope walk between too tight and just a bit of annoying flub that’s a challenge, and always is. This one sits right in the zone.

Cool thing about these amps is you have like two totally unique and usable amps in one, red vs orange. A lot of flexibility. I also added NFB and depth controls on back. They only work on orange, since there’s no negative feedback on red. Unless you switch it to “vintage” mode, of course.
