you can go to carvin website snd listen to the clips. I think the cleans are incredible, but the gain a little fizzy but at that price go for it you can always part it out and get your money back. I have seen the heads going for up to 400 and the cabs at 250 it is an easy investment!

Never played one but had a Legacy. For the money the Legacy wasnt a bad amp or could have been a good amp if you were into the tone. At those prices you Im sure it doesnt use the highest grade parts but then again Carvin doesnt use stores to move their product and can keep the prices lower, so who knows.

Personally.... I wouldnt buy one again but then again, Im a cork sniffing snob now. :D

I had the head, I was never a fan of the cabs they paired them up with. I think the heads actually sound pretty decent if you keep the presence and treble down. Great backup head because it's cheap and light!

Stay away from it Chris. I owned the combo a while back, and it sounded like a fuzzy/buzzy SS POS...

I owned an MTS for about two months a few years ago. It will sound huge and great on its own. However, in a band setting you will over blend into the mix. I was constantly getting lost in the mix. SO I went back to my trusty Jubilee. THe cabs are nice though.

That's a crazy price! I've never heard these amps, though. Are they decent or not really? Man, a full stack for $600 is ridiculous!

Hey Chris, I used to have the 2x12 combo version of that amp. The clean channel was excellent (stellar imo), and might work very well for you in tandem with your pedals (like you're doing with your twin).

I wasn't a fan of the gain channel at all, just my preference...

That amp has a tube preamp, but it also uses diode clipping in the preamp.
Not great for some, it's a bit fuzzy sounding.

if it had bogner written on it you'd   eat it up
