It took a little tweak time but I'm very impressed with these. I'm no recording guru by any means but they sound great.

I've tried many of the free software programs like Nick Crowe and LePou but then I found TSE which is costly but it was the best VST to my ears until now.

There are so many good amps on here and all of them have endless tweakability options. BE100, 5153, Uberschall, MarkIV, some old Jubilees I believe and some more. Just tons of killer amps and from the amps I've actually played (5153 and Uberschall) they are on target.

They also have their own IR loader and a starter pack of IR's. You can also load your own IRs however.

The amp sims and ir loader both have tons of options. Eq, filter, saturation, you name it. Very awesome and I'm pretty impressed with this. Definitely going to be buying some.

The best part is the price. They're like $12 each. I've found a few I really like and will probably just buy a few. Don't need them all considering the type of music I play.

They have a 14 day trial and for anyone into VSTs I highly recommend at least giving it a shot. Not sure if this is old news or not but I just found out about them.

Nothing beats the real thing and I doubt this would make people put their AXE FX's or Kempers away but for a very low cost you can get some killer tones on the fly.

Yup, tried em and was impressed. Like you said, it didn't make me off the Axe, but the variety of what's available out there for recording at a very low cost anymore is astounding.

With these and that TSE plus a $100 interface, you could have some really decent tools to get shit done.

I have TC Electronic Impact Twin. My recordings always suck and I was wondering if it was my interface. It almost seemed that it wasn't getting a good signal but I am a big noob and my recordings probably suck because I suck.

Here is a clip I made with Lepou plug ins and a crappy Bass synthesizer. I want to redo it with these Thermionik when I get a chance to hear the difference.

Np, The tones speak for themselves honestly. I dialed in something great with the Ogre last night. Just sounds so natural/realistic AND it is on target for sounding like the actual amp.

I am taking advantage of the trial to determine which I like the best. I may just go ahead and buy the Modern II pack. I really liked the Ogre and the Psyco C BUT I also like the BE100 and others so I just need to spend a bit more time with it to see what will be the best for me.

The Klip will more than likely be added to my cart as well seeing how there is a sale going on. Seems like a really cool software program that a noob like me can really benefit from.

I just snagged the Sonic Empire bundle. I have no idea if the modded JMPs are close, but they sound damn good and the unmodded JMP is pretty damn close to what I remember my old one sounding like. I'll throw together an Alice In Chains clip using them later to post up.

Shane, perhaps for your next venture you can make a virtual pedal board?

I'm anxious to get some recording done today! I found this thread last night and downloaded the demo and REALLY stoked to check these out!

I just discovered IR's a couple months back after I had been using Revalver for a little while. I got LePou's plugins and loaded my first IR....HOLY SHIT! I think I've got around 1,000 IR's at this point! I mainly switch between a 5150/Ecstasy sim and have been really wanting a modded Marshall/Friedman sounding sim to pop up....and here it is!

Also very anxious to check out these clean amps as I've had only hi-gain sims thus far.

If you haven't already, try it with two IR's or even multiple. I like having two going at the same time. Really opens it up, sounds bigger and you can get great sounds spending some time testing different combos.

Thermionik has a IR loader and some sample IR's that are cool. There are so many out there, like you said you have 1,000 of them lol.

I really liked the God Cab IR's.

Yeah, I have the habit of spending WAY too much time listening to cabs instead of recording and I'm trying to finish up an album, so I've got a couple channel strip presets I load up that have an amp/cab/gate ready to go so I can get to work instead of spacing out. The day I realized I could load more than one cab was when I made that 'deal' with myself. I just get lost for hours listening to stuff that'll eventually get mixed down the road with probably entirely different amps/cabs.

Loading up Logic now!

They just sold an FB100!

Just wanted to share a quick clip, just a 60 second noodle that shows how well this cleans up in HBE mode.

Recorded in Logic Pro X, just a Noise Gate, LeCab w/ Brohymn Mesa 4x12 57 and a bit of stereo delay then uploaded straight to Soundcloud. Guitar is an Ibanez JEM w/ Evolutions, which normally are too damn hot and make these amp sims sound ultra compressed to me, but it's WAY easier to dial away from that with this sim!

Thanks for the heads up on these, dude!!!

Here's a short clip of Them Bones using all the amps minus the JTM45 from the Sonic Empire pack. I put a boost in front of the unmodded JMP and each amp had their own individual cab IRs, but based off the same cab from Redwirez, which I believe were G12m speakers in a Marshall cab. The guitars have a little bit of high and low filtering and compression using the Waves SSL channel strip but not much else.

Wow, nice clips, guys!!!

PS - I am working on some FX pedal emulations at the moment as well.

Sweet!!

However, I'm never going to finish the album I'm working on if you keep releasing stuff!
