These Balaguer Feral pickups are killer.

Just got these in and wow!!! Jaw dropping honestly, these will be replacing some pretty high end pickups.

I’m not good at reviews or recording but I’ll try my best. I recorded this with my cell phone because I’m a noob and it’s just not doing justice the pickups deserve.

They are damn near perfect for me. Super tight and punchy low end, the mids are very smooth and the highs are just nice. Not harsh at all and the sound is just so open it is great.

I had to dial my amp a bit differently than before but it sounds so much better to me. In the room it just kills. So clear and tight and open is the best way I can explain

Anyway here is my recording, just some random metal riffs. I tried to cover as much ground as I could in a few minutes but damn. It was seriously hard to stop playing to post this.

what did you get?

I want the Archetype with Nitemare burst. I think they coming out with a new slimmer neck and alnico pickups soon too.

Badass reminds me of manlius asphalt though a litle clearer. (Less output)

I usually prefer a little higher dc but may give these a shot , I need something for an SG I have.

What magnet in these?

Yeah sorry, I didn't know the specs. I knew it was 12.5k which is cool. I wanted to try something lower coming from 18.5k BKP.

I think I read the next one they are coming out with is Alnico 8 and more output. Might give those a try too down the road.

I have played two of them and they were both pretty awesome.

TBH this guy pretty much nailed it for me on his review. Although I disagree with him about the pickups.
