.........when I saw them as opening acts. Granted, Brother Cane opened for them at the "end" of the Sammy/Balance era when tensions were obvious from an audience standpoint. And Silvertide was pretty much a "deja-vu" when VH tried the '04 Reunion thing.... :D

He damn sure showcased a few Les Pauls in the Brother Cane video.

the singer in my old band is a huge Silvertide fan.He also seen them open for VH and shared the same opinion.

we played "aint coming home".nobody ever heard the song b4,but it always went over well at the end of the night when peeps were drunk and inhibitions were lost.

Most of the bands here on RT couldve smoked VH at that time

just sayin...

My band in Denver did Ain't Comin' Home...cool song/band. I had never heard of them before our singer introduced us to the tune.
I recall the name Brother Cane but I don't remember that tune.

Not really familiar with Silvertide, but it seems like the lead singer really wants to be Chris Robinson.

Silver Tide was a philly band, they broke up, guitarist was in shinedown briefly and the singer's got a new thing called automatic fire or something that sounds nothing like silver tide. They were all pretty young when they wrote that song, like 19-20 I think. Sound engineer on my old demo is buddies with them.

"Seeds" by Brother Cane, their second release, is one of my favorite records of all time. Has been since I was a 'wee lad.

The first album is probably my favorite, but I pretty much like everything Damon Johnson has ever done. Guy's a monster player/writer/singer!

I'm not feeling the honkey tonk Kane nor the teenage Silver-ACDC-Tide
Seemed to have stage presence and energy, but I'd take EVH in a drunken haze over that

Not much musically the same, better off comparing to Rolling Stones
