They went digital and the sound is so not as good

Big problem with a lot of IRs out there in that scenario are the guys eq the absolute shit out of them prior to releasing them so they’re mix ready. Several of them have HARD HPFs at 100 hz or more. Idk where this thing started about high passing guitars 100-130 hz. It just sounds like ass lol. Check out the Titan audio ones. VES steered me onto those and they’re killer. Josh Middleton are good too.
Yeah, that is thin as hell. I bought a 10" sub for my studio monitors to try to get some more of that in-room feel and rumble. They only do 80hz and below. On my FM3 I always set the IRs to Ultra-Res mode, because that sounds and feels more full in the low end. One of the big reasons I have considered upgrading to an Axe III is because of the Full-Res, but they don't seem very popular.

I mostly just use the stock IRs, but wonder if others out there would be much better for this.
