Thinking about adding an effects loop to my JCM800

Unfortunatley the guy that did mine does not have web site to point to but it is really nice to have for the delay thing and not have to go through the hassle of doing the whole master/slave thing with more equipment. I have mine specifically tube -buffered with send and return volume knobs and a true bypass switch. I also have mine caliberated for an echoplex, but it sounds great with a digital delay as well. It just makes it sooooo much funner and inspiring to hear that nice delay through a good loop on a good overdriven tube amp IMO.
good luck

what do you plan on running in the loop?

Thanks for the link Riddick

I plan on using a delay and possible an EQ in the loop.

Wait until the 17th brother....I've got a Line 6 Echo Park (ducking delay) that sounds great in front of my Cameron's.

If you have a PPIVMV adding a loop might sound like ass. I suggest that you slave the amp bro and add in the effects at the slave. Not only will it sound better but it will save you the hassle.

+1

Im not big on the PPIMV anyway, for the fact it messes with the NFB circuit. I prefer the Jose master

I am thinking of adding a loop to my Vox AC50, but I would probably go SS. There have to be some good SS loops out there. I can't even think of an amp I have owned with a tube effects loop come to think of it. The problem is I don't want to drill holes, I guess I could use a couple of the input jacks since there are 4....
