Yes, Mike Scott on lead guitar. It's basically Prince's live band. John Blackwell absolutely kills it on kit.

I thought the arrangement was great, as was the band. But JT really can't sing. Unless he arranged this, he was way out of his league on stage with those guys to me. He just does nothing for me as an entertainer.

Like to see/hear that with Pink or Florence singing that.

I hate to admit it but I actually like JT and think he's a talented guy and good entertainer. Mind you I wouldn't actually buy any of his stuff or pay to see him, but when I see something come on TV or the interwebz I'll usually watch.

I happened to catch him live years back- both solo and wth nsync. (hey, took my wife). Good entertainer- ill give him that.

These guys use some bad ass session dudes. His guitarist was catching my ear- then I recognized him as the great Greg Howe!

He should stick to acting. Seriously, he's a solid actor and does comedy well. I also think that is the reason why he is acting more and writing music less. Also greater payout on acting as opposed to the grind of a tour.
