The EQ's not shared and the clean is clean, not semi-clean.

Uh, what? The Marsha I saw had one EQ. Are we talking about the same amp?
Yes, the Simple Clean has a preset EQ. There aren't any controls.

OK - that explains it. In any case, I think the comment about versatility vs. the Suhr stands.

My recollection re: the Marsha was that the cleans weren't very clean. I'm not sure if it had the simple cleans or something else though - it wasn't my amp.

Thanx for all the advice and opinions guyz..appreciate it. My PT100 is staying put  Next amp I buy will be the updated version of the PT... I KNOW it will be epic.

I dont understand why you were thinking about flipping the PT100 in the first place?!?!? Where are the gaps?

Me: PT100 and mostly LP or Axis for the last 2 years. Recently have had to come up with funk sounds and decent clean sounds so got my EBMM Luke out of the cupboard and BOOM...new Amp...fantastic

People want the Swiss Army Knife of guitars but the PT100 is almost the Swiss Army Knife of Amps.......lives up to the promise of (better than) Fender cleans and (way better than) hot rodded Marshall..... 2 year of gigging one now but there is no way I could justify buying another amp!
