I know he does use a couple of Bogner single stacks live and has done for quite a few years now.
He has so much gear he could be using the kitty litter tray for recording for all we know.
I 'think' he has a Kemper so it could even be that for recording ..............guessing only.

Are there Bogners that can get that loose? I imagine there are. I'm not as up on the Bogners. Kemper could replicate that. Pretty close anyway. Monkey Man will know I guarantee you. He loves Steve Lukather. FWIW - I've sadly never played either.

I 'think' he uses 2 x XTC 20th Anniversaries and they're not a super tight distortion. They excel at lower mids and not upper mids so they don't cut through that easy in a mix. A great amp but not an offensive amp when it needs to be at times.Are there Bogners that can get that loose? I imagine there are. I'm not as up on the Bogners. Kemper could replicate that.
