I know he does use a couple of Bogner single stacks live and has done for quite a few years now.

He has so much gear he could be using the kitty litter tray for recording for all we know.
I 'think' he has a Kemper so it could even be that for recording ..............guessing only.

I 'think' he uses 2 x XTC 20th Anniversaries and they're not a super tight distortion. They excel at lower mids and not upper mids so they don't cut through that easy in a mix. A great amp but not an offensive amp when it needs to be at times.
