I know Dave's been using Fortins in the studio, not sure about Derek. This was in Germany, not sure if they'd lug Fortins to Europe. Of course, there's nothing but Marshalls in the background of the actual live show videos.. Absolutely Punishing..

They may have profiled their US rigs and used Kemper’s, which sit in the back. That’s becoming pretty common for US metal bands when touring internationally.

I found the live vid on YT..Dude!! Amazing. Really well shot, sound killer as you already know and the crowd participation and sound is on point. Bobby sounds exactly the fucking same, maybe even better..lol. Love this band.

I don't really hear that signature Kemper fizz. Wonder if they doctored it up in the studio.

Grab the whole album. It sounds really good in the car!

Do you remember the tube preamp pedal Fortin built for Dave? It was years ago, but it definitely had some people salivating.

This one has been in my CD player for the last 6 months. Old. But slamming!!

The chugging grooves on this track alone are worth the price of admission.

Couple that tone and groove with beer and you have headbangin' heaven, Dan.

Awesome, man.

EDIT:
Oops... I've a feeling you're a sprits man these days, but for me it'd be beer, God's greatest creation.

Oh ya! All I been listening to is Overkill the last year or so. Guys just slam!

Overkill is like a nice vintage wine; gets better with age.
I've seen them live 3 times now; each time they kill!

Kinda like Biff from Saxon; more raw and intense as time passes.
Lääz Rockit was like that too; first albums a bit glammy, and then from Know Your Enemy onwards, nice heavy thrash.

There version of "Frankenstein " can give a Woodie to a dead man.

..or as Mick sez,: make a dead man cum"

Hmm, I'm not so sure... Have you heard recent live gigs of Accept for instance? That's all Kemper and I hear some almost signature punch that the Overkill recording also has. The whole 'Andy Sneap was our live-engineer, making EVERY-FUCKIN-THING punchy AF!'. ;)

I would be willing to bet that they are using either a kemper or the Fortin Preamp pedal. Im leaning towards the Fortin Preamp. I love Overkill. My first concert was them on Years of Decay. Then I saw them several times after that from Horrorscope days. I watched a live video the other day of them and wasnt digging it so much but that could have been an off day or bad recording. Put some weight on Bobby Blitz and he could play a live action murderface.

Ya man this song moves and grooves! Listen to it daily driving into work.
It’s a older cd but been number one in the player for months. Lot of good tracks.
Glad a bud of mine turned me on to Overkill bout 16 years ago.

Clip sounds great, tight playing too. Made me want to start a 1 man circle pit
