This weekend's grab and go "B" rig (EVH/Timeline/Charvel)

I've been building a small "grab and go" B rig but has been taking a long time to get finished. I've been itching to gig the Timeline for months since I purchased it but wanted to wait until the board was totally finished. I couldn't wait any longer so this weekend I threw it on an old SKB board I had in the closet and took out the 50w EVH. I was very pleased. It has me rethinking the complexity of what was to be my "small" B rig. :rock:





 
Cool rig.
I'd need a boost for leads but otherwise great stuff.

Not sure that an A rig would be much better than that. ;)
 
That Charvel is amazing! Bet that little rig covers a lot of ground.
 
It is amazing how much you can cover with a good amp, a solo boost, and a delay pedal. :rock:

I stay mostly on channel 2 and switch to channel 3 for leads which is set for more gain and a volume boost. I do like a boost though with the EVH's but more to tighten and add sustain to channel 2. :cheers:

This is so true, and if you needed to add some "color" such as modulation, the Timeline has it covered.
 
Here is the "A" rig board

Controls a 5150III 100w and a rack (pedals and Gmajor2) into a Mesa 4x12.


 
Just yesterday I was thinking about Charvels and how easy they are to play. Just effortless fretboards. I love mine!
 
my A Rig is very close to that, throw in a EVH Phase 90 and a Cantrell wah and i'm all set :D
