The MXR analog chorus was released in the past few years, and was wondering if anyone here came across it and got a chance to try it out. What were your thoughts?

Also the MXR 10 band EQ is probably the best eq I have come across is pedal form, and wanted to hear opinions on it from those who played it, and what EQ pedals everyone here uses.

I used the MXR 10 band EQ. I used the kfk one too. Good pedals.

I've used the MXR EQ for a while now on my Friedman Simple Clean. Works great and no tone loss. The 10 band seems to work alot better than the 6 band. No level adjustmet on the 6 band makes it tough to work with.

From everything I can tell, the analog chorus should be a boss CE-5 clone. If they did a good job, it should be a nice chorus. Set depth to max, rate to min, and you'll get a nice rotary speaker kind of chorus.

My MXR pedals were nice but they always broke on me. I think I broke about four of them.

Still using a Boss GE7. Just can't get away from it. It keeps covering the basis and has never failed me so I will stick with it. I am curious about the 10 band MXR (level and gain control seem handy) though

I had the KFK 10-band for awhile and it was OK, but I liked my modded GE-7 more.

Wow, really? From my experience with them, that is not an easy thing to do. did they just all of a sudden not work anymore?

I went from a GE7 years ago to a the 10 band eq and I must say the 10 band for me kills the GE7. The extra bands of EQ I found to come in very handy, but the level and gain controls I find to be extremely useful. You can basically control the input and output volume of the pedal, which makes it a more versatile delay. So lets say you want a mid boost, you can boost the mids on the pedal to do that, but you can also add some gain without having to use another pedal.

Its not perfect, but I thought it was a nice upgrade from the GE7. I would say give it a try, and if you don't like it you can always return it. Only downside really was the extra space needed for it and it needing 18v.

Now I'm more curiuos about the 10 band. Being someone that has used both thats good info you have given me. Thanks

I think MXR makes decent stuff... I'm surprised to read someone here (glipster!!) was destroying them so easily. I've got an old school script phase 90 that's STILL working perfectly well, even after almost 25 years of abuse!! I'm currently eyeballing the M117r flanger as well. Seems to be a good do-all pedal, and not nearly the price of the A/DA or Hartman pedals. I use fx super sparingly, so it's not as though I rely on them for my perfect sounds - I just need the cheap salt and pepper, not the saffron, know what I mean?

My phaser is still good. Two 10 band eq's and a stereo chorus stopped working on me and I couldn't get them fixed because I bought used. Total waste. My fav chorus now is the Tortuga Martini.

I've never tried the Analogue Chorus before.

I have tried the yellow Stereo Chorus, and unfortunately it didn't sound good at all to me. Sounded way too cold. I like a bit of warmth in a chorus.
