Thoughts on Les Paul Studios?

I was thinking of buying yet another guitar, and was thinking maybe a Les Paul Studio.
regular one, not faded.
Mahogany body/neck, Maple top.

Thoughts on the Studio's?

good? bad? same as regular pauls, good and bad out there?

Not sure about the current ones, but my '95 rocks! Plays wonderfully and sounds as good as some of the upper level Pauls I've played.

That got to be the worst post ever.

Just put in a bid on a Les Paul Studio, actually. The ones I've tried has been amazing. And what's more; it's the only way to get a white Les Paul with gold hardware but without the binding. Not sure why, but I don't like how the binding looks on white Les Pauls.

I love mine. Although I wouldn't consider it my main axe, it is my go to LP. It's a 92 with an ebony fretboard. It's actually the guitar I've owned the longest at about 14 years. I have played some newer ones and can say I haven't felt quite at home as I feel on mine, but you definitely can't go wrong with the right Studio.

I have an 06 silverburst and it is my main guitar. coil taps and an ebony fretboard, couldn't beat it for the price{ got it used for 650}I do want to try some different pickups in it. I like the pups one day and hate them the next.

I got an all mahogany Epiphone LP Studio this year (For a steal at $80) and it's actually a really decent guitar. Very resonant acoustically, and it does sound and play really nicely.

Could not agree more and it so happens I've got a 95 studio that im doing $600 shipped which is pretty much $550 for the guitar. I've got 2 and I've got one with bareknuckle's as my main axe and just itching for an SG. Mine has upgrades as well, and in players condition. Its up on here, check it out!

Had 2 mid '90's studios, both were great guitars. I wish I still had one. They were light compared to my current LP's and sounded good...

I had a studio DC. it was an 01 i think. Great guitar. I would buy one again for sure. Maybe throw some Afwayus in it this time

An old friend had one of the wine red models with gold hardware. Think it was a '98. That guitar just killed. The stock pickups sounded great, and I liked it better than my other friends Standard.

I have a 1994 model in black & it's an excellent guitar. Bought it without even plugging it in. One of these days I'd like to get a white one with the ebony fretboard.

I had a newer studio for a little while. It played great, but purely due to cosmetics, I don't like them too much. The lack of binding just doesn't look right to me
