Thoughts on Splawn 2x12 cabs?

Looking to possibly keep my Quick Rod, and downsize to a 2x12. Looking to get a matching cab and wanted opinions on the Splawn cabs.

I have some UK Greenbacks, but wasn't sure they'd be a good choice with a 100 watt head, and also wanted a little more punch and tighter low end. How's the Small Blocks? They supposedly more like a Heritage?

I have a vertical 2x12. It's built rock solid. I have always preferred smallblocks with splawns. I have never owned a EL34 based splawn tbh. The smallblocks are awesome though. Highly recommend them.

I had a Splawn 2x12 with CB65's. I used it with a Nitro and 2011 Quick Rod and was really happy with it. As far as build quality it was just as good as my Orange PPC212 or my KSR 2x12. I wish I would have kept it and at least one of my Splawn heads but I had to fund my current amp/cab. I would buy another one without any hesitation. I've heard good things about the Small Blocks but the CB65's do pair extremely well with Splawn heads.

I have a Splawn 2x12. Really tight cabinet with a lot of thump. Great build quality. I had 2 Small Blocks in it,sounded good. I swapped one out for a Governor which I like.Gives it a little more edge than both Sb's. I also tried a Creamback which was OK but just prefer the Governor in there.

I love the M65 Creambacks in my 2x12. Smooth with nice mids. Work great with the Quickrod. I went this route because Scott highly recommended them.

I was trying to say that he would advise best for your needs. If he says it, he means it. He is a down to earth good guy.

I like the 2x12's more than there 4x12's. Very huge tone out of them. thick. Very 3d.

I've got Chinese Greenbacks in my Splawn 2x12 . Great sounding cab with plenty of thump . The head sitting on top is a 50 watt EL34 Super Sport
