@RevDrucifer has backed the claim that proper mixing techniques can turn down the SPL coming out of a guitar amp just by using the proper mixing techniques. Since I own a music school that frequently has to cover these topics, I am all ears to learn this new technique and pass it onto our students.

Please enlighten us on how to turn down a guitar amplifier with proper mixing techniques

I didn't want to pollute the thread...anti science nuts go crazy and end up creating all sorts of forum drama, people who are normally friendly get all attacky with each other, and it just gets ugly. Rather have it here I think, but I will do what the mods request

Haven’t noticed that phenomenon here bro. My guess though is a lot of people who would be interested in this don’t regularly come in here.
 
Ahh, well, I don't want to show up and a week later turn the forum into some warzone. I LIKE this forum! All sorts of different opinions represented here and the mods don't seem to protect the frauds
