Sounds pretty cool in a scooooped way. Just did a classic V pattern. Used my Les Paul with a ceramic nailbomb in the bridge.

Wherever I May Roam (Metallica).
Didn't do the whole song. The clip stops after the little harmonied riff thingy after the 2nd verse. Fun song to play!
I NEED as bass guitar/rig. Any tips on a decent bass rig that wouldn't break the bank???

Hell yes, dude. SICK grind in the mids, nice job!

Sounds like my Mesa Quad......doesnt Mark Cameron model a lot of his voicings after the Mark IIC?

Nothing wrong with scooping if done correctly.

Here's a demonstration:

Sounds great! I'm hearing a lot of mids there for doing an eq scoop?

Not sure. The CCV does at times sound like an awesome version of a Mark Series amp.

Ampeg SVT's fit the bill nicely. Maybe a Spector Bass? Or a 5 string Rick.

Sounds good!!

No bass rig suggestions?

I was going to suggest using your Kemper for bass but I don't see you have it in your signature. I use the bass profiles and they sound great.

Yeah, I dumped the Kemper. It's a cool piece, but I just wasn't in love with it. It's just a little to pricey to keep around IMO. I wish they only cost $500...

I had been thinking tis or a long time. After getting a MKIIC I can hear it. Not a bad amp to model after. Especially since people scream for Mesa to do it and they won't

Any one of those would break my bank!

Used GC, Ibanez bass... Find an amp brand you like the sound of and get their smallest combo with a direct out. You can mic it at home that way as well...
