Exactly dude..... there's just something about a Marshall with PAF style pickups. I think a rock song or two has been recorded with that set-up. Marshalls and single coils are cool too, but hello, you may have heard of a lil player by the name of EVH. Pick up some of his early stuff. It's all out of print and very tough to find, being so obscure and all, but you might like that sound he gets with the bizarre combination of humbuckers and Marshalls.

Are there any Cali mod clips around Scott? I listened to the one on youtube called California modded. That clip is so freaking heavy it's insane. I think the entire state of California would fall into the ocean if someone here had a tone like that. Maybe they could handle that tone in Compton where they're tough, but for the rest of us, that tone is way too scary. If that is the Cali mod I can't even imagine the NATAS mod.

Isn't the Cali mod, Jose inspied and EVH inspired? That clip sounds Beelzebub inspired.

Hot buckers were used I have lots to learn with this amp as this is my first amp like this, I am sure that there is some good brown inside I am not a clip making machine as I suck at that but I am going to try hard to do something, either vid, handheld, or Cubase.

Hot buckers? How hot? Powered by the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in stead of a 9 volt? I think you could plug an acoustic electric nylon string into that Cali mod and it would be heavier than what I think of when I hear the term Cali mod. I'm going to petition to rename it the Compton mod. The rest of us "Cali" people are way too wimpy to have that mod attributed to us.
