I have not tried a Airis Savage yet. Looking forward to your thoughts on it.

I remember the savage I had being in the same ballpark as the precision drive, but a little less tight, bigger and more gritty sounding, and less nasal/boxy in the mids, but still on the nasally side like ts style pedal tend to be

I feel that the PD would've been absolutely perfect if it wasn't for how nasally it was, once you could hear it it just couldn't be ignored haha, still have yet to try the Savage drive though. Hear good things

I felt the Standout smoked the Precsion Drive in every way when I AB’ed them and it got even tighter than the precision. The precision drive sounded like a small toy in comparison. It also made me sell my 33 and grind. It even out did the 33 at doing the djenty upper mid kerrang thing if dialed to be

Cool thing about the VFE Standout is the Blend allows you to control how much clean is mixed in. The tone controls are really give a lot of control. The Dragon is awesome also. All the VFE pedals I have used are very versatile.

I'm into the Fulltone Fulldrive 3. It does not get near as tight as these other pedals. If I want tight I use one of my Fryette amps. The Standout and Dragon was awesome with my Tremoverb. I really liked the Noise Gate on the Precision Drive.
I think all these pedals are awesome.... it's going to be about personal taste.

I also just grabbed the Dragon Dynamic. So, I'll A/B the Savage Drive and DD with my Friedman BE50 for more tonal variety and tight metal. ...It's already pretty tight, especially when you engage the Sat switch, which I'm really liking more and more!
