Did you get the neck plate with that body?
I'm looking to find one for sale, an original 4 or 5 digit San Dimas for the mojo, to use on the new guitar.

Nah... The guy did give me a Planet Waves strap, black metal knob, input jack... .But no neck plate... Those things can cost ALOT... I'll just buy a regular black neck plate.

I'll probably pick up a Ft Worth one and mill off the "Ft Worth" part and repaint it, and stamp it "JEFF 001" or something.....

VRAD- Give Jeff at Egnater a call....I talked to him yesterday and
he mentioned he had a Aldrich pickup he's selling........ :thumbsup:
 
I put a Seymour Duncan Custom SH-14 in my Charvel and it sounded absolutely incredible! Don't hesitate to give that pickup a shot

I think the body is supposed to be basswood, but it feels more like alder weight-wise.

I may do that. I have a Distortion and a Custom. So the Custom 5 might be a nice option as well.

Actually yeah! I need to play that. My oldest son is saving money and loves the feel of my Musikraft.

I'll check with Shreder... I still have to fix his Epi's volume control. LOL!! :D

showed up while I was out of town - looks great. now I just need to order up a neck! Thinking 1/4 sawn or birdseye (can't decide which, but leaning 1/4 sawn).

That's a Musikraft body. Mine was very well done.

1/4 sawn is very straight and stiff. If you decide to get a 1/4 sawn neck, make sure you get a dual-action truss rod.
