My wife is from Dublin and wandered over to the cemetery to find Phil's grave while there. Walked around for about an hour and saw an old lady and asked her if she new where his grave was. She said its pronounced (Lie-not) and yes, I am his mother. Very nice lady. Man, did she catch shit back in the day for being in Catholic Ireland, with an out of wedlock and with a black baby. She persevered though and worshiped the ground Phil walked on. He was a very public figure around Dublin. Cool statue of him outside a bar called Bruxxels off O'Connel St.
Now THAT is a cool story

It's a sad sad situation, Phils' mom visits the cemetary every day. He had an imeasurable talent, one of the alltime great songwriters.

Man you don't see any bands these days coming out with the originality of a Thin Lizzy. When TL was on the ball they were unstoppable.

And for Mr. Phil Lynott – a highly under rated bassist/singer song writer. Phil was and will always be remembered as a true rocker.

RIP PL…

Its always time ro remember Phil and the boys, Thin Lizzy is one of my all time faves
