...would have kicked this dude's ass. I mean the music/tone is OK but...wtf? Man some of the shit you find on Youtube.

Anyway, RIP Tina Turner. Not my genre but she was a legend. I always thought she had a good voice for metal.

I remember when I was hanging out at my parents' house once, there was a channel that was primarily concerts and such. We watched a concert she put on and holy shit, that was one of THE most mesmerizing spectacles I have ever witnessed. The only concert I think that might have been bigger and more fantastic would have been one of the Michael Jackson concerts at the height of his fame. She put on a killer show and had so many great songs.

Anyways, he looks like Jason Momoa put on lipstick and learned to play guitar.

This is enough to make Tina Turnover in her grave

I know every generation says essentially the same thing. But we grew up in a world where Edward Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tina Turner, and Bruce Lee all breathed and lived simultaneously (at least for a while).

Future generations will be mourning the loss of ‘social influencers.’

+1
That woman worked her ass off on stage with the pedal always to the metal.
After the shit she put up with early on with Ike it was great seeing her have a HUGE
comeback in the 80s right at the height of MTV.

RIP.

She was hands down the star of Tommy too.

Future generations are going to look back at this time and it's people as one of the most self absorbed ever. Making "websites" dedicated to themselves. History will not look kindly upon us.

I think that guy's red lip stick is a nod to her being known for the signature red lips but I get what you are saying. I think the musicianship and arrangement is good but it drags and the EZ drummer drums don't work for me. As for Tina, she's sort of intertwined with my youth as an 80's kid and she had fantastic presence and a voice to match. She deserves all the accolades she'll get. She had some great tunes.

Now in true social media fashion, everyone has already changed their facebook profile pictures and posted something about her because they were her biggest fans but within a week, something else will take her place. Maybe another mass shooting or two ( or three)
