Hey guys is there a trick that I am not seeing that can get the Uber channel as tight as the 1st channel? I am sure this has been asked but I was tweaking knobs and just cant quite get it done! Thanks in advance

Between my '94 dual rec and uber rev 2, ive never had that problem...even though tons of people say neither is "tight". To each their own I guess...

For my tastes the amp has to have a little squish and give so when you play it your have that bounce under your fingers. Boosting an amp just changes the attack and feel. Ubers are about as tight as I like.

Thanks for the kind words, by the way. My uber's been waiting for a re-tube. Tubes are due to arrive tomorrow...can't wait! I'm switching back to EL34s, instead of E34Ls. I think I like the deeper low end extension with the EL34s. Is everyone biasing at 28mA per Bogner suggestion these days?
