TM Fractal Updates ..

I created a new thread as the other was locked ..

I figure TM has probably gotten a few emails and phone and maybe Rob would pop on here like he has in the past to give us the scoop.

I had emailed Brad to confirm this is ok.
I am hoping this thread will get questions answered and be a way for TM to communicate.

This is not a thread to insult TM or Fractal as we really do not know the situation on either side .
Please, I ask so this thread will remain open that we do not turn it into a 5 page placing blame

Again this thread should be for new info either from Rob or any of the people that are currently remaining on the list
 
Why start another thread? Wouldn't it be easier to do as Brad suggested and contact Rob directly?
 
I preferred checking the TM Axe thread rather than adding to the numbers calling/emailing TM/Rob.
Reading the bit about the email ("No further TM shipments due to...") was... unsettling. Still curious what "the real story" is, all around.
Seriously considering Kemper + H3000/3500 instead now... :confused:

I figured that instead of getting calls from 12 different people while he is busy in the store .He could come here and kinda fill us all in so he would not have to answer the same questions 12 times
 
I'm done with it. I sent in an email requesting a refund.

I emailed Rob about what we're talking about here, and asked him to pop in to give us the lowdown. So, keep them fingers crossed...
 
I wounder if Rob has spoken with Cliff recently. It would be nice to get some kind of update. It seem like we're being avoided like a bunch of lungers.
 
My gut feeling is that its not TM's fault, and that they aren't getting any details from Fractal. However, relaying the reality to us would probably be better than not responding at all. We had a thread begging for some sort of response to no avail yet Brad was able to post about the Cameron amp mode Dweezil seems to enjoy :doh: hahaha
 
Guys I have no info and no relationship with Fractal and while good friends with tone merchants I have no ownership there as well. I have told Rob I think he should chime in here and update everyone. Hopefully he will do so.
 
I suggest that anybody concerned with these happening emails Rob directly. I did, and it looks like he's working on the situation. I can't say who's fault it is, most likely something on Fractal's side, but I really don't care, I only want an Axe FX II or some money back in my pocket... SOON.
 
I have no dog in this hunt at all, but from an outsider's viewpoint it makes zero sense to buy from anyone other than Fractal. There is no benefit as far as I can tell from going with a 2nd party dealer. :dunno:
 
Emailed TM on Wednesday, called on Friday requesting a refund. No reply either by phone or email....

Don't know what's up, but I'd like some sort of response.

Tone Merchants ships to Canada. Fractal Audio does not. While that may soon change, it's been a number of months since Fractal suspended shipping to Canada (in and around when the AxeFX II was released). You could ship to a US address and drive down to pick up your unit. You could hope shipping was again available when your name came up on the waiting list. Or, you could order from Tone Merchants.

I suspect that a number of Canadians have ordered through TM.

I ordered from TM because they were the only ones doing a presale, and I couldn't afford to sit in front of a computer all day refreshing the online store. Had I known it was going to take this long I wouldn't have done it. I got a refund a couple weeks ago and ended up with an Axe2 anyway.

Everyone seems to be blaming Fractal...but in the email posted in the other thread Fractal clearly states that TM wasn't keeping up their obligation as a distributor and that's the reason for the hold on the units.

Yeah that's why I ordered from them, they were the only ones doing a presale list. Since Cliff said they are the only authorized retailer of Fractal products in the US and even honor warranty work, I assumed there was no issue with ordering from them.
