Sticky knobs!? The device is really awesome but it's not some hot porn chick expecting a load all over her face 
. Some of you guys should get checked. Being attracted to a piece of rack is whack! 
As for the line. I like it better with it too. It feels more complete.

I don't think there's really anything to be said if it was only a change in the screen press. Themike's bad display is just one of those things.

Hahahha I think it was only on the prototype models and initial few models. The knobs were made of a different material that they changed for production to a better material. Scott Peterson over on the FAS boards had some funny comments about it.

I was one of the early ones on the waitlist and got my Axe II July 13. I have a similar LCD display issue (see pic). The weird thing is sometimes it's fine and sometimes not. Cliff said it's a defective display and to contact support. But the thing is, I haven't been able to stop playing it long enough to send it back. Having too much fun to part with it at the moment but I will be following up with support to resolve the issue.

Not at all Cliff... I think everyone's just going apeshit in anticipation of their much awaited and beloved Axe-II's. It's been a long road - long and dramatic and emotional - for A LOT of those involved, none the least of which has been you and Rob. I think now that the fog has cleared and things are on track, people just don't want any more issues or concerns. Rob's been solid, as has his crew at TM; things seem to be moving along tickety-boo on the FAS forum, and overall, the release of the II has got into the hands of those who've put their money up front and waited a long wait.cliffc8488":cczt52np said:

WORTH IT - I can't reiterate how good this thing sounds. Also, i got it working via USB for Axe Edit AND Logic Pro within 2 minutes. It doesn't get any easier. Also updating firmware is now a 10 second process.

Cool then. I do not care about a white line.
After watching that video, I am interested in rechecking start-up time on mine. I could swear that after I flick the power switch, I can count at least 2 Mississippi before the screen lights up. The one in that video was fast! The slower start may be a change for the better? All I care about is that mine lives long and prospers.

The only complaint I have is that now I got to get a monitor controller to A/B between the interface and Axe FX II monitor output... or get another set of monitors. Heh, there's something to ask Santa for.
