Yep, hope they record something. To bad they will never tour the States!!

Man Tony is having a hard time with the material.. they need to tune down 1/2 step or a whole step... one of my favorite singers, but some recent live stuff was painful.

Saw them back in '89 for the Intuition tour..small club in St Paul, Ryan's I think...great band. Killer vocals and Ronnie has to be one of the most underrated players out there.

Cool to hear that he's back, but yeah it seems like tuning down a touch might be in order.

The Starbreaker CD he did was pretty cool, if you like that style..

He didn't sound too bad on the clip above....he still seems to have most of the higher range and screech that is part of his sound, although it has been 25-30 years since he did those albums with a lot of the screaming on...you can't expect him to sound the same.

Hard to tell the quality of that show though on your typical craptastic cell phone recording though, really

I'm looking forward to them coming to NY. The singer in my band is one of Tony's students so I'll find out more about them coming to the states.

TNT has not toured the States in quite some time. I hope they will come here, but I am not counting on it!!

Well, he's not amazing but he's certainly not as bad as you say.
Some of his recorded stuff is special.

Post some of your stuff, I'm sure you're far less special than he is.

This is just terrible? I think the guy is a killer phraser and is one of my all time favorites on his first four albums. His tone was fantastic too. To each their own though, but if anyone else thinks this sort of phrasing is similar to Kerry King, well, this forum has given me tons of reasons to  over the last few years and this one goes in that column..... near the top.

But what do I know?

From Guitar World on Le Tekro, "Within a single guitar break, he could shift from a fast classical run to a gutsy blues lick. It’s easy to see why esteemed guitarists that include George Lynch, Nuno Bettencourt and Zakk Wylde have admired his playing."

But what do those noobs know? They need to come to Rig Talk so they can learn about good guitar playing.

Guitar World 1989
"What other new players does Zakk like? "Ronni Le Tekro [of TNT] is probably my favorite," he replies. "I could listen to a whole album of his and not get bored. His picking wails, and he doesn't sound like Yngwie -- just a real fierce attack. He does some serious smokin', for sure."

"George Lynch of Dokken states Le Tekrø's solo for "Caught between the Tigers" is "a real face-melter. It's spine-tingling"

Good songwriter, riff writer, and composed some great melodic solos. I can't see how you can compare him to the forever atonal Kerry King.
Your comment sounds like something I would read on the Gear Page.

Why won't they tour the US?

Simple. It is not profitable since TNT would not bring the draw in that Japan, Norway, and other countries would. Like I said before, I hope I am wrong, but even the mighty Jorn does not tour over here in the US.

Really? I can understand you not liking the music, but calling Ronni LeTekro terrible is just plain ridiculous!! And comparing him to Kerry King is hilarious. You must not know a damn thing about music, guitarists and even guitar playing.
