Tone Battles! (amp, modeler and pedal shootouts)

I really enjoy comparing amps, modelers, pedals etc. and I do comparisons often, especially of tube amps. I wanted to come up with a formula that would be a bit more bitesized so every iteration will just focus on one tone and only two pieces of gear will be included. Just to keep it simple and fun!

I also want to do this in a way that doesn't completely spam this forum so I will post all the episodes in this thread for everybody who is interested. I hope you guys will have fun and also participate because I'm basically going to let you guys decide which are the winners of all the Tone Battles.

So in this first one I did a shootout between the Peavey Invective MH and the Victory Kraken V4 Guitar Amp. I absolutely adore the Invective. I'm a sucker for lunchbox amps in general but I just think the tone of this amp is amazing and it's also quite versatile for such a small amp.

The Kraken V4 amp is also cool. It's a hybrid amp with a solid state power section. I personally prefer amps with tubes in the powersection but this amp definitely is pretty good. I would absolutely love to try a full tube Kraken one day.

So which one of these amps is better for high gain metal? Let's find out! Don't be afraid to comment here to vote on which one wins this battle!

both sound pretty ripping, the victory sounds just a little lower mid focused to me. one on each side would probably be great

Eehhh ok? Participation is never mandatory, you're free to do as you please. It sounds like you think I try to deceive people though, which is weird to me.
 
Here's a new one! Another high gain rock comparison but this time with the Orange Rockerverb 50 MKIII vs the Laney Ironheart IRT60H:



Kinda hard to pick a favorite this time but I love the mids from the IRT. The Orange will always have a special place in my heart! :)

Can't wait to see it! Your PRS is beautiful looking and sounds even better. The PRS+Dual Rec video was an instant click for me. I enjoyed the Nu-metal vibes.

Unfortunately I had to sell the PRS to help fund my new guitar. It's one of my dream guitars: Gibson Les Paul Custom. I actually used to own one that I really regret selling. The PRS was amazing but this Gibson will be more "me". Can't wait to get it and start writing with it!
 
I’m a sucker for Peavey and prefer it here. I need an Invective mini. I had the Kraken pedal and it was good, but I came out preferring a head kind of setup to the pedal thing.

That XLR out on the back makes it right up my alley!
 
Love my little cute mini amps! Which one of these little guys has the best high gain tone to your ears? I made a little comparison. They sound pretty different imho:
