Killer tone! Excellent player as well. Anyone own a Trainwreck Express or clone? Zwreck, etc?

TW's can sound pretty cool from the vids I've seen, (never in person though), but they don't look like they should be taken on the road. They look like they should be sitting on an end table with a speaker cab hidden behind a plant or something.

I have a new Express...one of the coolest amps that I've ever come across. Although there are clips of the new ones and old ones that sound fantastic, a Trainwreck (moreso than any other amp that I have experience with) simply can't be fully appreciated until you plug in and play through it. It really can't be described...there is an interaction between the player, the guitar, and the amp that I've never experienced in my time. Amazingly dynamic/touch sensitive with a ton of gain for a non-master volume amp, with the ability to go sparkling clean with a simple twist of your guitar's volume.

Check out some of the Matt O'Ree vids on Youtube to hear the new ones, and Glen Kuykendall vids for the vintage ones.

Damn, need to play this or something like it!!! I enjoyed the guy's playing as well.

What model is in the vid?

Rupe, curious to know what power tubes are in your Express?
