mightywarlock, what is that 2nd/blue guitar on the bottom row?
That, is a reissue of the white guitar next to it. The white guitar is a Washburn HM20-V. It was made in 1985. Made somewhat famous by the girls in a music video. (trivia...can you guess which one? Think about it...).
It was an amazing guitar, featuring a wonderbar tremolo system, neck through body, and I think one of the fastest, most amazing necks there have ever been on any guitar.
The Blue one, is a Washburn M-20 Instigator, limited edition from boogie street guitars. This is #45 of only 50 made. Features mahogany neck and body, flamed maple top, El Diablo bridge, and '59 neck.
All that being said, both guitars will probably be going for sale soon.
The white one has an EMG Kerry King set, and I was thinking of putting back the stock wiring before selling it, which has kept me from selling it for quite some time.
I love the guitars, but I do have too many, and seem to be digging my new Explorer more, as well as my new Memorial day weekend purchase of the Ibanez SZ2020. If you guys have never played an SZ before (regardless of model#, SZ, NOT SZR (yech), SZ's absolutely sound amazing, especially with a Duncan Distortion in the bridge, and '59 in the neck)! In fact, The grey one in the middle there is an Ibanez SZ720FM, and that has been my main guitar now for a few years. I got it in a cheapo purchase (it was a $700 guitar at the time, got it for $2something). The stock pickups were duncan designed, to be a duncan designed distortion, and a jazz, or something like that...I decided to leave the neck pickup, and put in a real Duncan Distortion. Nothing I own beats the tone I get from this guitar.
The new SZ2020 I picked up last week said SeymourDuncan/IBZ, so I thought they were the same thing, only to find out they were real duncans (TB6 and SH1). My highest recommendations for anyone looking for a new guitar. Seek 'em out on ebay) and Craigslist). (SZ320, SZ520QM, SZ720FM, SZ2020FM, SZ4020FM-NO SZR!!).
