Too Rolling Stoned (NGD)

The KR Mega Vibe was an excellent Vibe.
The Sabbadius and the R Weaver Vibes sound a bit more like the original Univibe, IMO. The Mega Vibe was a bit darker. Wish I still had my old one.

Quite a few people was saying the opposite -

I have one, I'm thinking now about selling it to you

In this I can hear the KR doesn't sound like the original. There's something missing which the Sabbadius or R. Weaver have.
The KR is a great Vibe, just lacking in something the originals had.
I had 2 or 3 of them (Mega Vibe), including a one-off Mega- Vibe (Jax Vibra- Chorus) Kevin built that also featured a Tremolo function.
He never asked or wanted it back. I wound up selling it for over $700 years ago.

I played a Trower strat years ago and what a killer guitar it was! Congrats for the new killer Strat, Carl. 😎

Carl, what do you think is the best sounding vibe with the smallest housing? I've settled on the Fulltone Deja Mini, which sounds decent, but the speeds seem off. I have the speed knob almost all the way down to get into slow Trower-throb territory.

One time I was buying something from him and he accidentally sent me someone else's order, it had 3 pedals in there, none of which I ordered. He contacted me frantically, I said casually, yeah I sold those already, he starts freaking out. I had to write him back, after having him sit with that for a bit, I said no, I'm just kidding I'll send 'em back. He sent me the right thing after that. Ha.

Yeah, I agree, the Mega-Vibe doesn't sound like the original... It sounds better

I had and I wish I still have the Fulltone Mini Deja-Vibe, that was a good vibe

It all depends what you like. There are no best in my opinion. Some sound amazing, some sound like the old vintage ones.
I had three original Univox Univibes, so I’m kind of partial to that old sound.

You are the man, when it comes to vibes. That's for sure. Let's call it vibe-maxxing, well you're like that with all your other gear too though so...gear-maxxing, I don't know. Ha.
Either way, you are the man

My favorites are the Sweetsound MOJO Vibe and the Fulltone Mini.

But I can get by with the NUX Voodoo Vibe and the Digitech Ventura Vibe.

I didn't like the Formula B Vintage Vibe or the Drybell Vibe machine. They just sound "weird" to my ears...

Here is a old clip using the Mojo Vibe:
