Interesting. If it were me... I'd just give the artist credit and move on. Would save money. Would save time. Would end the lawsuit. All it would take is a footnote in the credits of the album, no?

I think it's just the stress of dealing with the case. Doesn't make for fun times recording when you have this looming...
