Definitely Tool, though the record itself is completely boring and was a huge letdown after Aenima and Lateralus.
aw man, what's wrong with you? you don't like the incessant droning of the same note over and over?danyeo":2ldqy5yu said:The Tool album is more boring than watching paint dry......![]()

Two recent examples of this are Tool's 10,000 days and Metallica's Death Magnetic.
Do you like the production on both or do you think one is great and another sucks?
Its pretty clear to me which is which but some people are having a hard time seeing it or hearing it that I talked to today.
I want to see what Rig-Talks opinion is of the production on both of these albums.

Metallica, I'm not so sure.
The results speak for themselves.

It could have made for a great album with better production.![]()
And without the solos sounding like they were played by a 12 year old noodling away in Guitar Center on a Saturday afternoon.
Or an old man wearing slippers playing drums looking at the Christies auction catalog...................................
+1, agreed. 2 decent songs, and a bunch of X-trip hum alongsEWSEthan":3pbbeasu said:Definitely Tool, though the record itself is completely boring and was a huge letdown after Aenima and Lateralus.

Bad production on DM really bothers me. I like to listen to the GH versions of the songs but the CD just sucks balls its somewhere on the floor of my car right now all scratched up and stepped on.![]()
