Man I haven’t heard that name in a long time. His amps did sound great.

I Have a Vega, but never had a chance to try a Gryphon. How do the two compare?1. Peters GNL.

VEGA is lean and mean with some really nice thwack to the attack.
GNL is very similar to the Gryphon, just with more gain range and tighter lows.
I also had a HYDRA, and that channel was perfect for lead playing. Really juicy, liquid and compressed sounding. Didn't work for me as well as the others for tight rhythm and riffage though.
The Gryphon, Vega and GNL all respond beautifully to a TS-style boost.
And each has an addictive growling grind to their voicings.
Do you like your Vega? What cabs are you playing it through?
I had a BodyHammer and it was tits. I may go on the hunt for a PlasmaBlade which is wishful thinking I'm sure. I had a deposit to him in 2018 for a new PlasmaBlade build but after 9 months I canceled. Still chat with James after the cancelation and was on good terms...I know he was having issues. Hope he's ok, no reply at all from him via email.Man I haven’t heard that name in a long time. His amps did sound great.
